From the code of conduct policy:

SUMMARY
The IT Consultant Code of Conduct Policy describes the practices and behavior the organization’s information technology partners, consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors must follow when providing products and services to the organization. Whether the technology provider is servicing the organization’s software, hardware, staffing, support, requisition, administrative or other technology-related needs, all consultant representatives must abide by the policy’s terms to safeguard the organization’s financial interests and protect the release of the organization’s data, institutional knowledge, practices, policies and information to unauthorized parties.

PURPOSE
The policy’s purpose is to define for the organization’s technology team members, consultants and consultant representatives the ethical, fiduciary, professional and behavioral practices with which consultants must comply as required terms for doing business.
