Electronic communication policy

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Electronic communications will be used only for company business.
  • Only authorized individuals can utilize company electronic communications. No non-employees are allowed to do so except where permitted by authorized personnel.
  • When utilizing electronic communications, employees must adhere to all laws, including those involving copyrights and/or intellectual property.
  • The company owns all electronic communications, regardless of form and reserves the right to manage and maintain them as needed.
  • No expectation of employee privacy exists. The company has the right to monitor and inspect the content of electronic communications, with or without the sender or recipient’s knowledge and/or consent.
  • Sensitive or confidential data must be encrypted both in transit and while stored (at rest).
